I've flown on Friday the 13th before, no biggie!

But you know, if it's really bothering you, just fly out on Saturday the 14th! ...and ride Tower of Terror on the 13th

DH and I were married on a Friday the 13th

Triskaidekaphobia is "forbidden" in the town where we live (and where I went to college). Everything relating to the school is the number 13. They've even insituted a new tradition that every Friday the 13th is Colgate Day.

Just a day where an arbitrary number and an arbitrary day name happen to intersect (but only on certain calendars - not everyone uses the same calendar in the world).

Yes I have and I would again. We've also flown on 9/11 and flew home from WDW around midnight NYE 1999/2000 (actually landed shortly before midnight--we were totally surprised to finally have a flight from MCO leave on time)--clearly these things never really bother me. Enjoy your day at WDW

My parents and sister flew to Israel on a Friday the 13th recently. They made it there and back safely, but 2 days after they came back, my sister's husband walked out, completely out of the blue and without so much as a backward glance.

If I was at WDW and had to fly home on Thursday the 12th or Friday the 13th, you're darn skippy I'd pick Friday the 13th!! Plus, if it is towards the end of your vacation you won't even know what the date is cause you're with Mickey and friends and who keeps up with such while there??!!

I may have a quick 'oh crap' moment about Friday 13th, but eh, no biggie.. I'd fly. I'd have many more reservations about 9/11, but I'd do it if I had too..

I probably would fly on Friday the 13th. Back in 2006 I started a road trip on a Friday the 13th. I was driving through three states with my friend. I sort of did worry. But we made to our destination 2 days later just fine.
