Thanks! We just booked it for 6 p.m. on a Thursday in the last week of August. How good is the food here? I haven't heard of this resteraunt until someone on the DIS mentioned it to me. How are the charecters, too? Thanks alot!!! :cool1:

Food is very good, traditional Thanksgiving Feast type meal. You can get the details of the menu from AllEars.net if you want to.

As to the Characters, they are dressed in traditional period costumes of the Revolutionary War time period. Cute restaurant with the same Williamsburg sorta theme.

LTT is our must do restaurant! We love it there.

Here's the dinner menu

The strawberry viniagrette salad dressing is fabulous! I also love their ham and the apple cobbler dessert (the AllEars menu says cherry, but it's always been apple when we've been there, and as recently as early April).

For characters, you'll get Minnie, Chip & Dale, Goofy, and Pluto.

Watch out if they seat you near the bell on the wall - Goofy will come up behind you and ring that bell when you're least expecting it!

This is a must-do for us too! We love it! Their honey butter is amazing! We as well have always had the apple cobbler, not the cherry. Not that it really matters for us I guess. We like the whole Williamsburg feeling as well. It's cozy. Enjoy! :thumbsup2

If you have had boxed potatoes and Stouffer's stuffing...you know the quality of these products and this is the quality of the food. Now I like Stouffer's stuffing (don't tell my mom her makes her's from scratch) and the atmosphere was calm compared to the business of outside. The characters were very attentive and came around several times. They even gave dd3 boxes of pixie dust on her way in and then on her way out (since she dropped the first box of "dust" on teh floor). We liked it...but the food was pretty "store-bought" basic.

Characters are wonderful and there dressed in colonial attire. Food so-so.

I find the meats to be dry and tasteless, sometimes the salad is wilted, stuffing taste like boxed. Many years ago this was one of our must-do's. Over the years the food has gone down hill. I finding it's more like cafeteria style food thats brought to your table. It's all you can eat, and if your really hungry it may taste good.

The building is a colonial style building wood plank floors and small wavey glass windows. Heavy wood colonial style furniture and lots of antique. There are many rooms and the tables are set-up in the different rooms.

The LTT gets a bad rap on these boards because they use Stouffer's Mac n Cheese. Truth is most, if not all, the restaurants serve a certain amount of Sysco food, so it isn't like LTT is singled out in the area of prepared food!

I like LTT. The restaurant has a lovely theme, and the characters are dressed to fit. I like the food, too. But I like Thanksgiving-type food, which is exactly what you get. :)

Our food was NOT SO SO SO, it was bad. The spread and rolls are the best thing going here. Our meat was cold, our server to busy to get warm meat or a drink refill to choke down the dry cold meat. We wont go back. I can microwave better food at home.

We ate at both LTT and CP on our last trip. I would have to say I enjoyed the food much better at LTT. I wasn't as impressed with the character interaction although I liked the costumes and it was neat when they called your name to be seated. It might have just been where we were seated, but it was a cramped area and it was quite dark. Even our photos didn't turn out that good.

While I haven't been to LTT for dinner DH and I went for lunch and really enjoyed it. For those who say it's Stouffer's macaroni (btw DH and I's fave macaroni) well duhhh it's a restaurant hosted by Stouffer's I sure hope it would be there macaroni, lol! We enjoyed our time there that's why we're going again

We went to LTT on Christmas Day in 2004. We loved it!! The kids got to do some coloring in the lobby while waiting. Once seated we had a great table in the corner. We asked for their ranch dressing instead of the strawberry vinagrette dressing. The bread awesome was very good and so was the rest of the food. Felt like great Christmas dinner at home! :thumbsup2

Thanks guys for the responses! This place sounds like a nice spot to chill out at after a long day at the MK. Any additional info is great, too! Thanks! :cool1:
