Health related pixie dust, preferably?
Last year, I had a benign breast cyst removed. It was not palpable by the doctor and it was a rough surgery because they basically had to dig for it.
Now, it is my one-year follow-up mammogram tomorrow. I'm only nervous because underneath my scar (where the lump was removed) it feels like I have a huge lump. My logical side tells me it is scar tissue, my illogical side tells me it is something bad.
Funny thing is--when I had a lump I couldn't find it. Now that I supposedly don't have a lump--I have a lump!!
Anyway, that mammogram is tomorrow afternoon and I meet with the surgeon a week later.
To top it all off, I booked appointments with my OB/GYN tomorrow for a routine follow up, and with a brand new GP who will "hopefully" take some of my other health concerns more seriously.
And, just when you thought that one person couldn't be anymore pathetic, I am also awaiting results from some thyroid labwork I just had done. I have this test done twice a year and it is a "tumor marker" test to detect recurrent thyroid cancer.
It's going to be rough over the next week. So I need some "dust" and some distractions!
Thanks!

to you
You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
to you. I know how scary it is, Christine. And, I am worried every time I go to the doctor but they keep telling me that it is just scar tissue and to stop worrying.
But, they are right, if they remove that, more scar tissue may develop so...chin up girl! And, feel free to PM me if you want
