South Maui, near Wailea. It was just the two of us (plus my coordinator, photographer and minister). There was a couple of other weddings going on around the same time, but my coordinator had that spot staked out for us the entire afternoon, until we arrived.

You had an outdoor wedding by a beach??? I'm so jealous!!! At sunset, no less. Wow! Absolutely gorgeous

Yes, and I was barefoot too. It was fabulous not being taller than my DH, and my feet didnt hurt !!!

We are planning a VR for our 10th anniversary, and its either going to be back in Maui, or a DISNEY VR !!!!

LOL I hear ya! As soon as we got to the reception, the heels came off and the flip-flops went on! I didn't have to worry about being taller than DH though, I'm only 5'3"

Hey everyone, I am so excited I just received my travel documents from my ta today.. 9 more days... I was getting nervous b/c I hadn't received them yet.
I really enjoyed seeing everyone's wedding pictures .. I hope no one minds if I post a few pictures of my little pirates from our Jan trip to WDW. (since Courtney said it's ok )

and a few from them playing eye doctor at the Childrens Museum in NOLA a few weeks ago. (That's a mustache they had painted on)

And that's funny you want to go during Christmas...I sometimes feel the opposite, since I was in like middle school it seems like my family ALWAYS went during Thanksgiving/December, so I've done the holiday thing so many times, even though this will be alot different than going w/my family. But I've always wanted to see Disney for different times of the year...not summer so much, it's so hot, but spring, and I've always wanted to go for Halloween. I'm already trying to talk DF into going for an early anniversary next September or October for HOPEFULLY free dining and MNSSHP!

My DH works for UPS so after Thanksgiving it's peak season and no one can vacation. I would LOVE to go for Halloween as well. I told him we definitey are when we have kids so they can dress up and have a great time.
I've been during the summer (WHEW!) and September but we usually go in January. I think it's kinda chilly sometimes, especially after Splash Mountain, but it's alot better than sweating!

Wow 9 days- SOOOO Exciting!! We leave in 21-Yea!!!!

The pirate shots are so cute! I have a funny story about kids and pirates - we took our whole family last summer and our grandson was being a little crabby and did NOT want to go on Pirates of the Caribbean, but we made him go anyway and he "refused to participate" keeping his head down the whole time - and then fell asleep in the "boat". He woke up when it was over and Grandpa bought him all kinds of pirate gear in the gift shop which he loved - crabbiness over. He walked around all night being a pirate. We took him to Downtown Disney that evening and let Mom & Dad have a grown-ups night out at Pleasure Island. We were waiting for the ferry and he's swashbuckling around and someone asked him if he liked the Pirates ride - he said "Yeah, it was my FAVORITE!" We cracked up - as he had seen NONE of it!!

Happy Labor Day!!!!!

I had off of my "real job" today, but I've been sewing dog clothes for Waggin' Rags ALL day, and I have to teach dancing tonight.

So, it was a labor-filled day!

I hope yall have all been well!

I'm so glad so many of you are still stopping by to chat! And, as promised, by today, I would post our last day of beach pictures!

So, we woke up in P'cola for our last day on the beach! And headed to the ocean!

After our fun, full-of sweat, morning at the beach, we headed to the pool for the cool water.

After swimming for a few hours, we headed to the condo to get changed for our beach pictures.

We took a few from our balcony first.

Then we headed down to the bay. This was, to say the least, interesting. I brought the camera's tripod to set up, however, the blinding sun, and the ferocious wind made our pictures quite difficult.

And then, this was Ryan and Cody's reaction to taking the pictures in the heat:

After sweating, again, we headed up to change for our fun night of BOWLING!!!!

I, of course, did not win... Did you see my technique in the picture???? I did, however, beat my brother, sister, and Ryan in the first game! GEAUX ME!

Anyway, after a couple of hours of bowling, we headed back to the condo for the night. After a great night's sleep, we woke up and headed back to Baton Rouge.

Overall, we had a great trip, but were really happy to be home.

After all, I was hiding a secret the entire trip.....

Also, I wanted to comment on the fact that you are sooooo lucky to be able to eat that yummy cake ( was it cheesecake? bc that is what it looked like ) and still stay as beautiful and small as you are!! I wish I could...but sadly I can't (but I still eat cake... )

Hi all! We're back from 9 days at WDW. Why is that you always need a vacation from your vacation. I'm pooped.

Crowds weren't too bad and since it was so hot when we left Ohio we were used to the heat. Did Blizzard Beach for the first time with my 11 year old while hubby and other son shopped. Definitely need to plan early entry for that as it got crowded later in the morning.

Thanks to Courtney for all the great photo ideas. We ended up with 166 photo pass pictures. I think last year we had all of 25.

Anyway thanks to all for the great ideas!
