On our next Disney trip we will be getting our annual passes. We will be staying at best western right across the street from Disney. We are trying to figure out parking issues. We have been told for our days Nov. 4-6 there will be no early parking allowed at the hotel as it is dapper weekend and they are expecting big crowds. We need to know how to go about the parking situation.
With our APs we will get free parking, but wont be able to get our passes until we are at the ticket booth. So do we pay for parking for the day, then get our APs, then at check in move our car to the hotel? I just hate to pay for parking I would have free in 20 minutes.
Hopefully Im just over thinking it and there's a real easy solution staring me in the face.

If your AP covers parking and you are purchasing an annual pass on the same day you parked on the structure give them the receipt for a refund, it's been my experience in the past the cast member will ask if you paid for parking in order to refund you.

We just printed our paper ticket voucher thing. Will that be enough for free parking possibly?

If you do pay for parking, take your parking ticket with you to the ticket booth, and they will refund you.

If you can't park at your hotel, you will habe to park in a lot until your check in time. I've has to do the same thing before when staying on Harbor and I parked at Toy Story lot.

You will pay $20. to park in the park lots, but keep your receipt and you will get your $20. back at the ticket booth when you exchange your paper pass for a real one.
