Could this be a virus that I got in my email??

I have been getting quite a few emails lately titled "Delivery Notification:delivery has failed" It is from Internet Mail Delivery

It has an attachment...and I have never opened it, but the body of the email sounds like one you get when your email was undeliverable...BUT.....they are not email addresses I even know of..........

Anyone hear of this type of thing going around??

Yeah could be. Just delete it. I get all sorts of junk like that in the many e-mail accounts I have for work and personal use.

Be sure your anti-virus protection is up to date too.

It's also entirely possible your email account is compromised or some used your email address as a 'return' address on a SPAM message. I had this happen to me on my Yahoo account.

Change your password just to be sure.

and it was a virus, everytime my husband or I logged on with a user name or password, there would be words there and they were being typed. so we went out and bought a virus protector and it found 4 of those emails and they were virus, so I thought i got rid of it, but it didnt so i did A system recovery to, two days before my husband got those emails, he didnt even open the attachement

That seemed to work.
