Could this be a problem w/ Dollar Jeep Promo?

I had reserved my jeep via telepone for a grand total of $195.24 which is awesome. So I just checked my ressie on line and the price is the same but I noticed in the fine print it says black out dates are 11/18/02--12/02/02..I called Dollar and they said as long as my conf says $195.24 thats what I will pay but I think if I got someone at the counter that was a stickler ther could be a problem. Any thoughts?

I did my Jeep ressies on line and the code went through for 11/29 - 12/8. I'll be sure to bring my printed confirmation with the coupon. Sure don't want to argue at 10 PM with a tired family! Keep us posted

The coupon does say "HOLIDAY AND BLACKOUT DATES APPLY" but does not specify any dates. However, on the confirmation it does specify the dates as 11/18/--12/02.

I just checked my confirmation as well and there are not any blackout dates listed. My reservation is from 11/23 to 12/3. I checked the web site yesterday to see if the price had dropped at all and it would not accecpt the coupon. Im assuming that is just because they are sold out ot the jeeps at that time. Good luck!

Just to clarify,

It does not show any blackout dates on the confirmation that was emailed to me, however when I went to the Dollar site to view my ressie, it still shows the discount rate, but it does say that balckout dates apply. Can someone please go into view the reservation and report back. Thanks. Maybe I'm just worrying for nothing. My dates are 11/30/02--12/07/02 so I would fall in the BLACKOUT period.

If you really want to be sure I would give them a quick call to confirm. Since you have a printed confirmation, I would imagine they would honor it...

I am booking on the last day of the coupon and have a confirmed res. I was worried as well, and called. The gal pulled it all up and said it was fine. I wrote down her name and time that I called. Hope it works!!

I just called too. I checked the website under view reservation and it did state the blackout dates. I then called Dollar. The agent I spoke too told me there were no blackout dates on this offer and she even pulled up my reservation and checked it. She told me the only thing it states is I need to print out the coupon and present it to the counter to redeam the offer. I got her name as well. Im not worried, I have the confirmation and a name. You've put my mind at ease. I think I will call this week (I plan to call on my offsite ressie as well). I've done everything over the internet so it would be nice to hear a live human say "yes you are scheduled for that"

i was told the black out date was 12/5/02 to 1/5/03 which was a bummer for me i'm going 12/15 to 12/21......

We checked in last Saturday with no problems. They did offer us a Dodge Durango for $5 more a day. My dad took that option for his family, but we stayed with the jeep. It has worked out great.

We just got back on Sunday. Used our Jeep 50% coupon and got a Durango no extra cost. We were happy since we like Durangos better than jeeps anyway.
