Could the weather forecast be any worse?

We're gonna be at the World from December 10th - 22nd.

Just checked the weather forecase courtesy of Intellicast:-

http://www.intellicast.com/IcastPag...ecasts&product=Forecast&prodnav=none&pid=none

It's pretty bad isn't it? I don't mind a little rain, but every day??? I can't help but worry about the cancellation of parades and Mickey's Christmas Party (we're booked to go to this next Tuesday).

So much for the so-called 'sunshine state'!!

Anyone else worried about the weather?

They are only forecasts and are often wrong - the weather in Florida is becoming more unpredictable though - only guarantee is it will be very hot July and August (when we go).

It does say 'showers' most of the time, so it is a bit vague, at least it won't be freezing cold like in the UK.

Hi, look at this one it's slightly more up beat http://uk.weather.com/weather/local/USFL0372?x=19&y=4

By the way my weather report for last week looked worse than what it was, also few showers means you get wet while it's still hot and the bright side is the queues for rides are shorter and you will get a few more sunny days than this is telling you. Things changed almost every day, heck one time it said it would be raining and not a drop, so don't always believe the weather reports.

It has been raining the past two days but prior to that it's been absolutely beautiful. Weather here can be quite changable, so I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet.

Weather.com says mostly rain, Weatherbug says mostly dry. Go figure.

I've been in December a couple of times. The temperatures actually look ok for this time of year and I would imagine you would get isolated showers rather than the long rainy days that we are used to.

I remember landing last year in December and the pilot telling us the temperature, I thought he said 30 degrees c, it was only 13 degrees the same as we had left it in Manchester. :rotfl:

Most of the time it was up in the 20's and mainly sunny. Don't worry I'm sure it will be mainly good, and a lot better than the UK. :sunny:

when you see on the forecast in florida there is a 20% chance of rain,it means over the whole of florida getting showers or over the whole of orlando if thats were the forecast says .So chances are you will be mised by some of the showers. Its when it gets up too 70-80% you should worry. The forecasts over there are not like ours when it says rain it means rain
Paulh

We just came back on Monday and went through all types of weather. We did have a few days where it was quite chilly and 2 days of torrential rain, but the rest was just lovely - in the 70's, still warm enough for us Brits to sunbathe and get in the pool - even if the locals are all wrapped up!!
