Works. My family and I will be there during this time and I have never been to Epcot while this was going on before, is it possible for someone to give me a short run down on how it works.

Thanks

Once the World Showcase is open for the day (at 11AM), all the food kiosks are open. They are situated around the WS and sell food (appetizer sized portions) and wine/beer for between $1.50 and $4.50 each. There is a daily schedule of cooking demonstrations and wine seminars which are free to attend, and can be picked up at the entrance gate.

The festivel consists of a variety of different things. For starters they have booths (about 20+) set up around World Showcase. Each booth is for a different country/region and has couple of differnt food items and a wine or two you can try. They are not free and range in price.

Other events such as special dinners, wine tastings, and celebrity chefs are also present. The site below will give you more specific information about the various events as well as the concerts held during the event. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...Listing?id=FoodWineSubListingSpecialEventPage

Also you can do a search - on the restaraunt board here at the Dis lots of threads, someone posted a list of events, etc... If you've ever seen or heard of Chicago's Chicagofest, I think you'll have an idea, lots of people milling about, lots of countries selling "tastes" of food for small amounts... wine and beer also for sale... they have different events, with different chefs doing how to types also!!

This will be our third trip for the F & W Festival. We love the atmosphere in World Showcase during the festival and we book our trips specifically for this time.
As others have said, over 20 additional countries/regions set up booths around the World Showcase lagoon. They sell native foods and wines in appetizer portions. The cost is generally $1.50 - $4.50 per serving. They also sell native beers and wines to sample.
There are many additional events as part of the festival. Many require reservations and sell out quickly. But even without a reservation to a special lunch/dinner/exhibit event there is much to do.
There are food demonstrations, wine seminars, beer seminars - all free - throughout the course of each day. There is a special festival schedule of events so you can see exactly what is offered each day. IF you are interested in a seminar, you may need to get in line 30 or 45 minutes ahead.
It is great fun!
Hope this helps

Except with less of a crowd. When we have been to Tase of Chicago you can hardly move. I love the food and wine fest it is a great chance to try smaller portions of things that you otherwise not try.
