Could not resist the 25% Voucher

I could not resist the power of the 25 % voucher received during our shortened Hurricane Frances cruise. I booked on Dec 31st for
Disney Magic departing on September 17th. I hate to take the kids out
of school but we did not have many choices with the Magic running out
west all summer. After I booked, my mother, brother, sister and mother-in-law joined along. Hope to meet fellow Disboard members on our cruise.

Hmmm, if you recruit a few other friends or family, you could probably qualify for group rates! Glad your weather misfortune has a happy ending of another cruise!

We couldn't resist using ours either. We booked the 1/15 sailing of the Magic, and are calling it Hurrican Jeanne Cruise Part II. But my DW and I came up with the radical idea of going alone, just the two of us. So with our refund and voucher, we're paying nothing! Can't wait to be back on board.

We will also be using our 25% off voucher on that same cruise. We were on the Hurricane Jeanne cruise! Can't wait.......we got NaNa and PaPa to give it another try and talked my sister and her family into going along as well! Still working on some other friends to join the fun......

Welcome aboard. We have taken our kids out of school for 3 years in a row now for a Disney Cruise......takes about a week when we get home to get back where we need to be, but it is all worth it. I think when they look back at their childhood the scars left from missing a few days of school will far be outweighed by traveling with your family and grandparents! I miss my parents so dearly that I would give anything to get back some of those family vacations! Thank God for the memories...........

This will be the fourth year in a row for pulling our oldest daughter out of school but
we have always timed it to coincide with scheduled school off days. This is an all-out
full week but like you said the memories are well worth it. We are from Ohio as well --
look forward to meeting you. I just posted on the Setp 17th meet board as well.

Missyoh8, Hopefully we'll run into each other again on the ship. This time it's just my DW and I, special second honeymoon. Really can't believe we'll be on the ship so soon after our last cruise and that it will just be the two of us.

So sorry for me allears.........I meant we will be on the same cruise as the original poster! That is in September. I am so happy for you and your wife that you are taking this time for yourselves though, trust me you deserve it.

OOps sorry for the confusion Missy!

We are really looking forward to this second honeymoon, though we expect it to be a little strange without the kids. We very much enjoy the time we spend with our children, espcecially on the ship. But I think we'll manage to sooth our selves some how. I hear the rain forrest room calling me daily already!
