Could not link Dining plan on a linked reservation

We added the dining plan to our reservation at OKW 11/30 thru 12/7 a couple of days before we went down. We had a linked reservation from two contracts and asked MS to link the dining plan which she said she did. When we checked in it took some time to recover all the info for the linked reservation and in the end they were not able to link the dining plan at all. I had to go to the Hospitality House two more times to have them reinstate the dining plan to our reservation as the new links began.

We once added a day at the beginning of a reservation (prior to arrival). We added the dining plan and we paid for all of the nights. First day, everything worked fine. All of our meal credits were accounted for. Day two, sorry, you don't have any meals left! What? Apparently all four nights of our meals expired the first night.
