So I got the 40% postcard a while back and booked the OKW in April and AK conceirge in Oct and DH decided that he wants to add another night on each trip. So I call last night and of course the night is not covered on the 40% off dates. To add one night at OKW would cost me $500 per night instead of the $200 per night I am already paying and the AK would cost $400 per night instead of the $200 per night I am already paying.

Crazy but I can say that I did get a heck of a deal with that savings coupon

certain sounds like it! did you add the extra nights despite the price?

Nope, I am going to call last minute and see if there are an AP or FL discount codes. I asked for a mod price and POR is $247 per night and POFQ was $276 per night for March 29th.

I know it is still high season but come on! I do vacation rentals on Marco Island and you can get a beachfront condo for less than that price.

It's not only high season, but Easter week, so I'm not surprised the rates are high. I wouldn't expect any AP or Florida Res discounts until about two weeks after Easter (seems like they typically start midweek, the second week after Easter).

Yes you could. But park that condo beside the #1 vacation place in the world (wdw) and tell me what that condo would cost.

Something is only over priced when people will not pay it. WDW resorts run at a very high rate of being filled. One of the highest rates in the industry.

Your talking about the week following Easter - one of the prime weeks of the year. I doubt you'll get any kind of deals at that time.

If it were me I'd pay the price & just figure that each night cost just a little bit more than anticipated - but that's me!!! :goodvibes I do just about anything for an additional night or 2 at WDW!!!
