Could not believe it, but there were dogs on our bus!

I'm sorry - I didn't mean to say that I think most service dogs are a problem for my niece. I think that there are definitely legitimate reasons for dogs as service animals. And dealing in those situations is no problem. I never think that her anxiety should supercede physical disabilities.

What bothers me is what you are saying about people who bring the animals b/c they can't leave them alone. That isn't a medical need - it is a want.
Please, don't misunderstand..your niece has a very real issue. And I meant no criticism of that. I merely used her as an example of a slightly different need.

I have to agree about 'need' vs 'want'. Way too much entitlement going on out there, with no thought whatsoever to other people. Just seems to be the way society is headed now.

I did not intend to start a debate about service animals. I was only stating the fact I had never seen animals on the Disney buses and wondered if anyone knew the rules about having them there. If there is a kennel at the entrance to all the parks, then is is OK for your pet to take the bus there? That was my first thought and had no idea it would turn into this big discussion about service animals. Bottom line, if these 2 pink bowed, pink stroller (which was a dog stroller as it had paw logos on it) cute little white fuzzy faced babies were service animals, then there you go, completely understandable. However, if they were not then why were they on the bus and what resort were they staying at? That's all I wanted to know.
