I think I may be pregnant. In fact, I think it may have happened while we were in WDW a couple of weeks ago. If so, will ridng the rides have hurt anything this early?

Congratulations! Sounds like you had a fun trip!!!!

Don't worry....you will be fine. At this point, any little baby in there is teeny tiny cells just starting to form.

Take care of yourself and enjoy this wonderful time!!!

You will be fine!! Dont worry!! And congrats!!!!!

Thanks for the quick replies. We've been trying for a couple of months...well since August when my daughter turned 1. We decided to take a break, and maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I think it happened. Thank for the congrats. I hope it's true.

congrats and positive baby vibes to you!!
no worries - oh the things we mom's have done when we did not know we were preggo :rotfl: !

You'll be fine...that little peanut is so well protected, especially this early on. Congrats!!!! Don't you love DISNEY souveniers?!! :goodvibes

I rode all those thrill rides at Universal Studios while pregnant with my DD. The Hulk was the new one.....She's fine!!! Although she LOVES roller coasters now....wonder if there is any connections.....LOL

:cheer2: Yea!!! Congratulations! Most of the "Pregnant Women Should Not Ride" warnings are only for Disney's sake, to cover themselves. Rest assured, your little baby will be fine!!

You & Baby will be fine. When I found out I was pregnant with my first, I actually went to Disney just TO ride all the rides! I was just barely 6 weeks along, lived just a few hours away from WDW, and figured that the next time I went, I'd have a little one with me and wouldn't be able to ride the thrill rides again until who knows when. I wasn't worried about the thrill rides since the baby was just a bean and very well padded & protected. I agree that the warnings are for WDW to cover their tushies in case of injury, and I would NOT recommend going on any rides if someone is visibly pregnant or even queasy, but that early on isn't going to harm anyone.

Bean is now 10 and loves WDW more than anything. As you can see from her pic in my avatar, there's absolutely nothing wrong with her, she's perfectly normal. ;)

Just a related side story: During that same trip I was in Liberty Square standing in line at the baked potato stand, when a bee stung me on my neck! I hadn't had a bee sting since I was 4, so had no idea how I -- or the baby -- would react. Of course the 3:00 parade was in full swing, making getting to First Aid in a hurry dang near impossible. By the time the parade ended, I had put a bag of ice on the sting, eaten my baked potato (which the CM comp'ed!), ridden Haunted Mansion :teeth:, and gave up on getting to First Aid.

YAY more Disney babies! We concieved our daughter in Disneyland and she is a happy monkey at 2 yrs! It's a fun story to have you have nothing to worry about :)

Your baby was well protected. Your baby actually didn't have a placenta yet so no heath concerns for you either. vacations are a great way to get pregnant:) I got pregnant the day of my wedding/hunnymoon:wizard:

I was pregnant with DS and had no clue during our 2006 trip. I rode all the thrill rides and drank around the world (I feel like such a bad mommy at times!:sad2: ). DS turned out just fine...he is a total thrill seeker, though. He has no fear and always wants more rides, slides and swings. I'm sure you'll be just fine. Just beware that he/she may be totally fearless and  like my little man!

I went white water rafting when I was first pregnant and didn't know- everything was fine- don't worry. Good luck and best whishes!:goodvibes

Ooh. A disney baby personally I don't know if it is safe I'm guessing no but it'll be a great story to tell about having your child in a magical place

You are fine!

Last Feb, Dh and I went on a 2nd honeymoon to WDW the day after an IUI (insemination) We had been trying for 4 years, but this cycle was just such a mess, I decided not to worry about it. I was positive this cycle was failure too. While I didn't drink, I did go on all the rollercoasters including aerosmith and space mountain.

Well either the IUI was a success, or we were succesful during the trip itself. Our little souvenir, a boy we are naming Noah, is due in 21 days via scheduled c-section. :cool1:

Congratulations momma!

It's true. Your little zygote takes about a week to even travel down the fallopian tube, to finally attach to your womb. Even if you drank, you'd be fine. Ma Nature knows what she's doing. ;)

Congats if you are, have you found out yet?

Congrats and you will be fine!!! Our oldest was conceived at Disney and I rode everything!!!

In 1998 we took our then 3.5 year old DD to DL for the first time. Found out a week later that we were expecting. She was fine. So relax.
