Hi all.
Seeing how much prayer can do, can I ask for a bit this am.
Having the right lobe of my thyroid removed this am. Would appreciate a small prayer.

Prayers and PD coming your way. I had a total thyroid removal nearly 4 years ago. If there is one thing I wish the doctor's had told me ( they didn't! ) it's that your emotions MAY be all over the place after they do the surgery. I don't think it was having surgery (I've had several others) but I do think it had something to do with having the thyroid removed.

the one poster is right about the emotions..i had half mine removed at 8 the other at 15..and my emotions went crazy!!

Thanks for the prayers everyone! THey worked wonders. Frozen section was benign but the doc did send the whole lobe down to make sure. It really wasn't a bad surgery. And there really isn't a huge amount of pain either ( I sure am glad as I despise pain )
