Could I add the Dining Plan late?

I'll be honest, we had no desire to try the dining plan and I know nothing about it at all. We're going in Oct, have our trip booked and paid for, and have all our ADRs made, including places such as Le Cellier, Ohana, Rose and Crown, Crystal Palace. Would I still be able to add the dining plan? Would it be beneficial for me to add it? There will be 2 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 3. How much extra is the dining? Thanks!

DDP is about $40 per day for adults, closer to $25 or 30 for kids. If you would like to eat at several TS places, it is definitely worth it. I've found using it Le Cellier alone makes it worth it. You can still call and add it to your package, assuming you are staying on-site. It will go by the number of nights you have booked, for example 5 days 4 nights means 4 days on the DDP. When you made your ADRs, they probably asked if you were on the DDP. After you have purchased the plan, just call 407-WDW-DINE and let them know of the change. They will probably still ask you at the restaurants, or you can remind them.

Well I've never bought it for kids, so I'm not sure, I just thought I remembered $24.99 from somewhere. I tried to look it up, but I didn't find it anywhere. The OP can call WDW for exact prices.

this is my first post so here goes:
just got off the phone with a CM they said it is $38.99 for 10 and up, 3-9 is $10.99 each night of the stay for 2007. you have to stay on property and have to had purchased at least 1 base ticket for everyone in your group. you also have to add DDP at least 3 days before you arrive. hope this helps!

Yes, you can still add the dining plan assuming you have a magic your way vacation package booked. You need to be staying on site- book a MYW ticket for each member of your party, and then you may be able to add the DDP. It's all in the FAQ on this forum but it's about $39/adult, $11/child per night of your reservation. So it'll add $100 per night of your stay to your trip costs. As far as if it'll be beneficial... I can't see how it wouldn't be with children under 10. Your meal at le Cellier will probably be more than $100 after tax and tip alone and so is dinner at CP for that matter.

The price per person for the DDP on our upcoming trip is $38.99 per adult and $10.99 per child. With the ADRs you have, you would save money getting the DDP. We have used it on previous trips and we found it to be a great value and also convenient. Hope this helps.
