No, there would be too many transfers and intermediate stops involved. Guests would not be happy. Is it possible? I wonder how prohibitive cost wise that would be? Skyliner seems like a pretty efficient investment in regards to materials and labor vs something like a monorail.
That would be a great use. They could even extend it to CSR without difficulty.Everybody I know would love a line out to AK! It’d be cool seeing the animals from overhead.
Getting to AK would be near impossible and very expensive. Better if they ran a monorail there or better yet a steam locomotive.
Is that due to the land that the system would have to be built on or something?Getting to AK would be near impossible and very expensive. Better if they ran a monorail there or better yet a steam locomotive.
Brightline extension!Getting to AK would be near impossible and very expensive. Better if they ran a monorail there or better yet a steam locomotive.
How is an outside company going to run a system with no income at a profit? The Skyliner and Monorail are phenomenal systems for what they are, or were in the case of the monorail. A secondary transportation system. How many billions would it cost to have a "real" rail system installed throughout WDW property? And what is the backup for the inevitable downtime?Disney needs to get serious about the transportation issues in Florida. The Skyliner and the monorail are a joke. They need to invest in a real rail system to transport guests between the parks/hotels. You would think they would oursource the transportation system to a company that could run the system at a profit.
