Could Disney be skipping a month with Discounts again?

Disney skipped Sept 2003 for discount codes. I wonder if that may be the case this year since codes are overdue with regards to past release dates. April into May may be booked heavily with the 50th Celebration starting???

The 50th celebration doesn't start until like May 5, so I would imagine that most people going in that time frame(April - May) will choose after May 5th if possible, so I would think that even with some of the country's high school breaks falling in April, that the attendance for the last few weeks of April would not be as high. Guess it will be wait and see whether Disney feels that they need to put discounts out for the rest of April past the 16th.

I'm still holding out hope only because of the amount of email codes and postcard codes that have come out for that timeframe. However, I've probably jinxed all of you because the last time my DH and I booked a Disney trip alone (8/03) there were no discounts because of the Fairytale package. We paid rack at Poly and it hurt!

I was playing around with Packages for this May around Memorial day and the resorts I checked all had rooms available?????
So maybe they will release codes for after Spring Break.... Resorts are not full yet anyway????

I wouldn't lose hope yet, in 2004 "general codes" came out on March 9th and in 2003 on March 14th. (Not sure what codes you're looking for)
I'm hoping for sooner than later.

I am going April 22-29, and just yesterday my DH was able to make PS's for anytime we wanted at these particular restaurants: O'hana, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, and Rainforest Cafe (at AK). This is making me believe that maybe it isn't going to be that crowded. So, hopefully we will still see some general codes coming out.
