Could anyone help me with the dining plan?

We are spending 4 nights at the world next April, and are considering adding the dining plan to our package, though I'm not sure if it would be beneficial for us. My wife, daughter (14) and I are not big eaters, thourgh we're planning to eat at signature restaurants for each of our dinners. W'll probably only eat snacks for our breakfasts and lunches, though we do plan to eat one breakfast at 1900 park fair and one at crystal palace. Everything else is completely up in the air. Given the above itinerary, would the dining plan be beneficial for us? Thanks in advance for any advice given.

Since you're spending 4 nights, and want a signature every night which is 2 TS plus character breakfast 2x, I would suggest getting the Deluxe plan.

It is 3 TS/ day, so that would allow you to do the signature every night plus a character breakfast each day, rather than only twice.

I would suggest getting the plan, but check out the menu's and prices and add up what everyone would get, figure the costs and see if it would be worth it to you. Dont forget that with the ddp you can order anything off the menu.

I vote for the deluxe dining plan!

When you say 'signature' restaurants, which are you talking about??

I would say the regular DDP probably would not work for you. The Deluxe DDP may be just right though. DxDDP is 3 meal credits per night per person (TS or CS), 2 snack per nt, per person and a refillable mug. Cost is about $70 per night per person.

For your situation: Signature restaurants are 2 credits , which would leave one credit (per person) left for a TS or CS (breakfast or lunch) plus snacks.

Take a look at the menus and price out what you think you might all order/spend. If it's more than $210 avg per nt, then the DxDDP will be the way to go. One other option, if you are a Fl resident or an AP holder you can get the DDE card ($60) which gives you 20% off most TS meals.

The signature restaurants we're planning to eat at are California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Narcoossees and Chefs de France - (maybe not a signature restaurant) We originally planned Bistro De Paris, but heard the meal took 3 hours, so we changed to the other. We also plan 2 other table service meals at Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast.

That being the case- I would agree with ChelleinNC- go with the deluxe plan or purchase the DDE card, the DDP will not provide enough credits for you for your meals.
