Cots?

You can't use them to exceed maximum occupancy. But it may be possible if, say, you have 2 teenage boys who refuse to share a bed.

Which resort(s) are you considering? Some don't have tons of extra room.

We got one at POR last week. They're not available at the All-Stars, though.

Were the rollaways comfortable? Can you compare it to the Daybeds, say at BC or YC?

Thx.

That is not true. You can't use it to exceed the max # of occupants, but you can get one for more comfortable sleeping arrangements.

We got one on one of our trips when our DS got sick so the boys wouldn't have to share a bed. Now that the boys are older and really don't want to share a bed (too big, too) we bring a blow up mattress (Aero, but any would work) and use that. A cot means you either leave it up taking up space, or have to fold it up every day. The blow up bed we just stood up against the wall during the day, and we didn't have to pay for it :thumbsup2

No rollaways or cots are available at DVC resorts.

Thanks! We'd use it so our boys don't have to share a bed, if needed. We're still not sure of our accommodations, so if wen end up in a room w/ a daybed, it won't be an issue. Just wanted to know *if* you could request them at any hotel.

Good to know they aren't available at the Villas though.

Hate to hear that! DH, DS and DD's boyfriend will be staying in one room. Me, DD and DS's girlfriend will be in another. (That's the best arrangement I could come up with)
The girls don't mind sharing, but the guys definitely don't want to. We're flying and don't know about about a blow up....
Any ideas?

Are you staying at the Villas? otherwise, you'll be ok. Do you have a car? You could always stop at a Walmart and buy a cheapie blow up mattress and just chuck it after your trip. Or bring one from home packed in a duffle bag, that's what we did.

Why not you and DH share a bed, have DS sleep in the other bed in your room.

Let your DD and DS's GF each have a bed in the other room...

Might work out better to have the two girls share a bathroom, rather than trying to have THREE girls share a bathroom. ;)

And where will the daughter's boyfriend sleep?
