"coteau_chick"We do believe in "George"

I love the costumes! :thumbsup2 So sorry about the spaghetti incident - I hope Grace was OK after the Tylenol wore off! Sometimes things like that hurt worse later on. :headache:

My teenager told me to tell Courtney way to go! :rotfl: not like she needs any encouragement. Of course, Kara thinks the same way. She wants to be your dds best friend, that way she has someone as devious as her to collaborate with. :rotfl:
I bought my dd 11 and ds 4 Elizabeth Swann and Jack Sparrow costumes for P&P Party. Kara, age 14, said no way was she wearing one. DH bought her pirate Mickey ears and you know what? She is already complaining about them and they havent even arrived. Teenagers!

It's not every day you get to tell your son not to cry so he doesn't make his eyeliner run!:rotfl: Sorry, that just struck me as really funny.

What a stinker Courtney was! She sounds like one of my sons, he can find a loophole in anything!

I actually bought dd12 the same costume! I'll just tell her if she won't wear it then I will. That should scare her into it. If I wear it , I'll be the french lady playing peek a boo!;)

Poor Grace! I'm glad she didn't hurt herself too bad!

I know the eyeliner thing is funny now but not at the time. I forgot to mention why he was crying. It was because he now thought he looked stupid too and with all courtney's carrying on he now thought that he was going to be the only stupid kid dressed as a pirate. Once he saw other pirates he felt much better.

Wow, Courtney got you. I have one of those, but she is only 6. OT, when DD was turning 3 we she wanted a Snow White costume. We told her she had to go on the potty and give Papa(DH) a kiss goodnight every night. So this goes on and we have our trip to Disney. She gets her costume. We come home and that first night she get ready for bed. I tell her to give DH a kiss and she says..."I already got my costume." I almost peed my pants.

Sorry she gave you a hard time. Brennen looks good. I hope he kept his costume on the whole time.

Poor Grace. I am glad to hear that she was feeling better after dinner.
You have a long road ahead of you.:woohoo:

Yes he did keep it on when he realized he wasn't the only kid dressed as a pirate he felt much better.

Poor baby. She didn't learn not to do that because she still tries to grab food off of our plates but now we are trained to watch out for her better. I felt so bad.

I love the costumes! :thumbsup2 So sorry about the spaghetti incident - I hope Grace was OK after the Tylenol wore off! Sometimes things like that hurt worse later on. :headache:

She was fine for the rest of the trip but I did give her another couple of doses of Tylenol
She would drop dead before being seen matching me!:rotfl:

I know but wouldn't it be fun to scare her for a little while.

My teenager told me to tell Courtney way to go! :rotfl: not like she needs any encouragement. Of course, Kara thinks the same way. She wants to be your dds best friend, that way she has someone as devious as her to collaborate with. :rotfl:

Oh no you have one too:scared:

You might as well send the ears back now you probablly wasted your money on them.

Pirate and Princess party part twopirate: princess:

After dinner we headed over to Pirates of the Carabiean and rode it again. The cm commented on how pretty Brennan's eyes were. She asked if he was a boy or girl. He was embarrassed again. I guess the eyemakeup threw her off.The wait time was only like 5 minutes.Brennan kept saying I do believe in George and Courtney kept saying that she didn't. Nothing happened our boat didn't stop. George probabbly felt sorry for Brennan he was so scared. Grace slept on this ride.

Next we went to ride Big Thundre Mt. Railroad. The wait time was only 5 minutes so they were not even doing baby swap. Dh and the kids rode and Grace and I just sat and she had a good time smiling at people until they couldn't help themselves but to stop and talk to her. She has that affect on people. It takes me so long to shop because people keep stopping me to talk to Grace and comment on how pretty she is. Dh and the kids just walked onto the ride with practically no wait. The kids were excited to ride again.Cool
Courtney was even having fun. When it was my turn to ride with the kids we had practically no wait either.

Here is a Picture of us in front of BTMR . I was wearing my shirt that I made from the creative disigns board . It said "I am the Mom feel free to treat me like a queen". I had even sewed sequins around the design. Courtney said that I had no shame to wear that ugly shirt.

Next we rode HM. There was no wait time. The last time we did this the walls were broken and didn't stretch but this time they worked. I loved that part. Grace took a little nap during this ride but the rest of us had a good time on it.

After HM Courtney and dh waited in line for Ariels autograph. I sat with Grace and gave her a bottle. We watched the Sebastian's dance party it was so cute to see the little kid danceing. I tried to get Brennan to dance with me but he was not going to do it. While we were waiting the fireworks began. Dh left Coutney in line and joined me and Brennan and Grace to watch the fireworks. Courtney waited longer than 30 min. for that autograph. I told dh to take Brennan on Dumbo while I waited for Courtney around 5 minutes after they went get in line for Dumbo Courtney had her autograph.

I had bought Courtney a Ariel bag from Wal-mart before we left home and Courtney got Ariel to autograph the bag. It came out so cute. The bag was only 6.95. I wish I would have bought the one with the princesses on it. I went back to wal-mart yesterday to get the princess one because I was going to save it for our next trip to get it autographed for Grace. Wal-mart in our town doesn't have anymore. I am going to start searching different wal-marts for another one.

Grace took a little nap again and now Courtney and I had to wait for dh and Brennan to ride Dumbo. They must have waited 30 minutes. It was another long wait for me. Courtney had the nerve to complain about having to wait for them after we had just waited for her to get Ariels autograph.

Courtney and I didn't get in line to ride Dumbo because I didn't want to wake up Grace because she was fussy since she had burned her hand. I was disappointed that I didn't get any Dumbo pics of the boys. I really wanted to ride Dumbo with Grace. Oh well I am going to have to wait until our next trip.

We rode It's a small world next. Again there was no wait we walked on. Grace was wide awake for this ride and she loved it. I think it was her favorite.

We went on Peter Pan next and by then the crowds we getting large. We waited about 20 minutes. That is a long time when you are holding a twenty pound baby that is fussing and listening to a grouchy teenager complain. Courtney complained because she didn't want to wait in line for a ride that she said was stupid. It was quite a stressful wait.

We rode pooh next. Again Courtney complained about the wait (which was about 25 minutes) she said that this was a stupid ride too. I felt like sticking the pacifier in her mouth since she was acting like a big baby.

Guess what! The pooh broke while we were riding it. It stopped two time for about 5 minutes each time (George? pirate: )

After pooh Courtney and Brennan and dh rode teacups. I sat on the side because I didn't want to disturb Grace. She wanted to be left alone in her stroller.

We didn't have time to go to toontown which I was disappointed about. I love minnies house and goofys barnstormer. We headed over to space mountain and the wait time was 60 minutes and it was so late. Grace was done and it was 11:00. Brennan and Courtney were disappointed. Then Brennan wanted to ride the people mover I hated to tell him no but I was not about to take Grace out of the stroller again and Courtney had already started telling him that the people mover was stupid:rolleyes: . I am going to buy her a pacifer for our next trip.

Before the trip I bought Courtney and Brennan pins on ebay and they had been trading them all night. I was surprised that Courtney participated in this but she enjoyed it.

On our way out we stopped at casey's and had some french fries. I was sad when we were leaving because I knew we wouldn't be back to MK on this trip. I was so tired though.

I seemed like a long ride back to AKL. Grace cried for a while on the bus. I finally calmed her down and then I had to wake her up to put her back in the stroller for the long walk back to our room.

When we got back to the room the kids were excited to see if we had any towel animals. We had left the mousekeeper a tip in a cute envelop I had printed from the mouse for less. I had also left a stuffed mickey and minie and a giraffe out on the bed. We had no towel animal and the stuffed animals were just thrown back on the foot of the bed. We were disappointed but I told the kids maybe she will do it tomorrow. I forgot to mention that this morning I had to go find our mousekeeper to ask for a do not disturb sign because Courtney was sleeping and we wanted to go to the pool. The mousekeeper had not been nice about giving me the sign at all.

On a more positive note EVERY othe cm at AKL was extra nice. I got Grace bathed and in bed then I walked with Courtney and Brennan to the food court to refill their mugs. I got some zebra domes. OMG they were sooooooo good. I wish I had some right now.

Up next Typhoon Lagoon Day 3

I'm here! Sick as a dog.

I forgot to look for the bags when I was at wal-mart yesterday.:sad2:

Do you think it was worth the money for the P&P party? I'm really looking forward to it!

The P&P party sounds like it was a lot of fun. :) We did MNSSHP in October - it was a lot of fun. It was nice to go on the rides without long lines. I think we are going to skip P&P when we my mom & I go in April - we're only there two nights - and we're on a strict budget. We'll definitely do it next year on our family trip if it is going on. :thumbsup2

I looked for the bags yesterday and my wal mart was sold out. I am going to check other wal marts this week.

I hope you get better. My ear is starting to hurt and I feel like I am getting sick too. Grace has an ear infection. She was eight months old wed and I had to take her to the doctor because she was sick. This was her first time getting sick . Poor baby.

I don't think the party was worth the extra money. The treasure was just cheap beads and some fake gems. And it was crowded. I may not be being that fair about it because I was handeling a cranky baby because of her hurt hand. It didn't seem any different than a regular park night and it did cost alot of extra money.

I don't think it wasn't fun I just didn't have as much fun as I thought I would have had. I was upset about the long line for Dumbo and Space Mountain. I felt like we took up alot of time waiting for Ariels autograph too. I dont regret waiting for Ariel Courtney really had her heart set on meeting her. I don't think I will do the p&p party next time. We do better in the morning than late at night.

Awww, I'm so sorry Grace got burned by the food. Poor baby! I also hope her ear infection is clearing up. This weather changing back and forth has really gotten everyone sick! It's hard to kick it all out too.
Sorry about Courtney and the costume too. I'm not looking forward to the teen years. :lmao:

I'm sad to hear that about Tony's food. I made us ADR's there for May. I might be rethinking that one now. I had one for Feb but cancelled it and made one elsewhere.

Great next update! I will check my Walmart for you. Is it a backpack like the one in the picture, except pink? I'll let you know if I see one. :thumbsup2

Sorry it was crowded for your P&PP. Ours had more people there than in 2007 but all the rides were pretty much still walk on. The character lines were a different story.

The food wasn't bad it just wasn't something we would want to eat again. My kids are pickey eaters so you can't go by their judgement. I may have had a different opinion if I wasn't nervous about the baby. I may not have liked the food anywhere after that stressful cituation. You might like it. The bread they served for the apetizer was really good even Courtney loved it.

I checked the New Iberia Wal-Mart now I will check Lafayette. It isn't a backpack its a bag with a zip top. They had a few Disney Choices. We got Courtney's the day before the super bowl. They did have some bags like it but no Disney ones left yesterday. It was Courtney's idea to get it autographed I would never have thought of that. If I had known I would have bought a few because they were so cheap. I could have brought them to Disney World and gotten them autographed as gifts. Ariel's autograph is so cute. She draws some bubbles around her name. Thanks for looking and let me know if you see any ok.

That sounds like a great idea for gifts/souveniers for people back home.:thumbsup2 I will go look and see what I can find tomorrow. Are they in the girls section or in the bag section?
