"coteau_chick"We do believe in "George"

Being a guy, I wish I was there for the Great French Bikini Exposure of Feb 08......;)

Courtney---She cracks me up.....

I am all caught up and subscribing. I think your family make-up is awesome. My husband is the 3rd of 4 children. He has 2 brothers that are 10 and 12 years older than himself, he also has a sister that is 15months younger. It is a very neat family dynamic. The two oldest are close and so is DH and his sister. However, they all have special things in common like DH and his eldest brother are both intense musicians. The other 2 have a similar love of TV. Because DH became an uncle at 21 years old he got very close to his niece (as he did not yet have a family of his own to keep him busy). Our niece is now in college and DH is the cool uncle that all her friends envy. They my space and he constantly sends her songs on I-Tunes.

This is a long story just to stay God made families of all varieties, and they are all special. May your 2nd red carpet wish work out as well as the first!!!!:wizard:

Can't wait to read more!:thumbsup2
Pam

Your husband's family sounds wonderful. I just want a house full of family and grandkids when I am old. Thanks for the encouragement.

I'm really enjoying your tr. Can't wait to read more!
Thanks I will probably have an update on the p&p party later tonight.:thumbsup2

I'm really enjoying your TP :goodvibes . I've never heard of the "George" thing but I'm definitely trying it next trip :thumbsup2 .
Ask the cm at POC about "Georgepirate: " before you ride it next time.

I'm still here, too! Sometimes I come home and I barely have the energy to *think* enough to string a few words together to post. But I always check in to see if you've shared anything new!
:surfweb:
We love the pool at AKL too. Thankfully, we haven't seen any wardrobe malfunctions with French chickies in bikinis...but we have had problems with scantily clad cheerleaders back when we stayed at the All Stars during Cheer Week.
Thannks for the update!

You are so funny!:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

pirate: princess: Pirate & Princess Party
Tuesday Feburary 5th

We got ready for the party. Brennan put on his Jack Sparrow costume. Courtney helped him by putting eyeliner on him. She really caked it on. He did look like Jack Sparrow though. I put Grace's little princess hat and tutu on her (sha! she was so cute).

Now getting to miss Courtney. I told you earlier about the issue her and I had over the Elizabeth Swan costume but I will recap. She made me order it because she had to have it. She really wanted to dress up for the party. When it came in she said she liked it. I told her to be sure because it wasn't too late to send it back. She said she was sure and she was keeping it. That was settled. NOT!

I'm here too! I'm sorry. I had a relapse with being sick earlier today. I feel better now but i'm affraid to go to sleep. It seems like everytime I do, I wake up and my sinuses are all messed up again. :confused3 Sooo tired of it.

Anyhoo, loved the pictures.

I agree....lady put your **** back in!! I also agree that she should have felt a draft.

And I hope Courtney wore the costume!!

Opps I accidentally hit the button before I was finished posting.

About 1 week before our trip when I was packing Courtney told me she was not wearing the costume. I was mad. To make a long story short she was sassy and I punished her. Later I told her that if she would agree to wear the costume I would let her off her punishment. She said ok. I knew what she would do when we got to disney world so I told her if she backed out of her end of the deal she would be punished for two weekends instead of one when we got home. She was mad but she agreed.

Well she was mad but she put on the costume. She started to look happy I think she liked it. She was joking around. Everything was fine until we left the room. The first time we saw anyone in the hallway she got mad at me. She pouted all the way to the bus. By the time we got to our bus stop she was saying that she looked so stupid and Brennan was now starting to look worried.

Courtney just got madder and Brennan looked more worried. By the time we got to the park Brennan started crying. I told him to stop before his eyeliner started running. This freaked him out. You should have seen his face he wanted to cry but he was scared of the eyeliner running. I was so mad at Courtney and let me tell you she had really overdone his eyeliner it was on thick.

This is the picture of Brennan at the entrance to the park

Here is the picture of Courtney and Grace at the park entrance. This is the only picture of Courtney in her costume.

She is smiling but she is probablly cursing me under her breath.

Guess what she did. As soon as we entered the park she went to the bathroom and changed. When she came back she said she had held up her end of the deal. She had worn her costume to the party.:headache: I guess she got me.

We had ADRs for Tony's at 6:00 and it was 5:30 when we arrived at the park. Brennan had really wanted to go to Tom Sawyer Island and we hadn't gone the day before so dh and Brennan hurried to TSI before dinner. Courtney and I hurried to Ariel's Grotto because she wanted her autograph and we were not sure if she was going to be at the party. When we got there she wasn't there but the cm said she would be back for the party. We went back to wait for our ADRs at Tonys. Dh called and said TSI was closed when they got there the cm said it closes when it gets dark. Brennann was upset so dh took him to ride IASW before dinner. I had wanted Brennan to read Tom Sawyer because I knew he would enjoy it but he refused. Well he had done something to get me upset so I punished him about a month before our trip and the punishment was that he had to read Tom Sawyer. He was mad at first then he started to get into the book. He ended out loving the book and he couldn't wait to go to Tom Sawyer Island. I felt so bad for him missing out on it.

When dh and ds came back from IASW it was time for dinner. We were seated and ordered our food. Brennan and I ordered spaghettie and meatballs Courtney ordered chicken parmasan (sp) and dh ordered some shrimp pasta I don't remember what it was called. Grace was acting up so I fed her some baby food. She was being quite a handful because she didn't like her baby seat high chair. We should have brought her stroller into the restaurant. I took her out of the high chair to hold her and they brought out our food. As soon as the waitress left Grace reached out and grabbed a handful of spaghettie. She started screaming it was very hot. She had burned her hand because she didn't let go of it at all. We had to wipe it out of her hand when we realized what she had done.

I took her to the ladies room to put cold water on her hand but it did not help. She was crying so bad that I just sat with her in the waiting area. The manager came out and brought me some ice and he told me to take her to first aid. Dh eventually came looking for me and I told him to go eat and when he would finish to come and trade places with me. After about 15 minutes she finally calmed down. Dh took her outside and I ate a few bites. None of us ate much of our food at all that night. Not only because of the accident but it wasn't that good. Grace was fine by the end of dinner so we didn't go to first aid. I gave her some tylenol .

Up next Pirate and Princess Party Part Two
Did the night get better?princess: pirate:

I sure hope you feel better soon. Grace is sick too. I took her to the doctor today and she has an ear infection. This is the first time she has ever been sick and she is eight months old today.

Courtney's costume was awesome.....too bad she's at that age where rebellion is the norm....:confused3

Sorry about Tony's--we ate there once and haven't been back. It wasn't bad just not memorable.

did she regret it later?

Jordan I just messed up your quotes on my last two posts. I hope you can unscramble it. You have to try to figure out what I said to what you said now. Sorry.

Hi there, you title caught my eye when I was perusing the offerings on the trip report board so I just had to pop in, I have loved the George myth since I first heard it and I love that you put it in your title. :thumbsup2

You have beautiful children and Grace is such a cute baby. You must get lots of compliments.

Hilarious that Courtney took her costume off once she got to the party, you can tell her she looked really pretty in it. I know it must have been disappointing to you but a teenage girl has to have her style you know. ;)

I know she said you got your picture and I smiled in it now I hate you. She really does love me. I also understand that she felt horrified in public in that dress. She probably thought everyone was looking at her.

Thanks for the compliment on my children. I think they are beautiful too.:flower3:

It's not every day you get to tell your son not to cry so he doesn't make his eyeliner run!:rotfl: Sorry, that just struck me as really funny.

What a stinker Courtney was! She sounds like one of my sons, he can find a loophole in anything!

I actually bought dd12 the same costume! I'll just tell her if she won't wear it then I will. That should scare her into it. If I wear it , I'll be the french lady playing peek a boo!;)

Poor Grace! I'm glad she didn't hurt herself too bad!

I have a better idea for you. I can send you Courtney's costume and you and you dd can be twins.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

coteau_chick - I figured with you taking a baby, you might know this- What kind of milk do they sell at the parks? 1%, 2% or whole? I really need whole organic, but I bet that is not a choice.

I brought Grace's formula from home so I didn't buy milk from the park. We did buy milk from AKL for ds and they had whole and dh got skim they probably had 2%too.

Wow, Courtney got you. I have one of those, but she is only 6. OT, when DD was turning 3 we she wanted a Snow White costume. We told her she had to go on the potty and give Papa(DH) a kiss goodnight every night. So this goes on and we have our trip to Disney. She gets her costume. We come home and that first night she get ready for bed. I tell her to give DH a kiss and she says..."I already got my costume." I almost peed my pants.

Sorry she gave you a hard time. Brennen looks good. I hope he kept his costume on the whole time.

Poor Grace. I am glad to hear that she was feeling better after dinner.
