I've searched this subject & read nearly everything I can get my hands on & I STILL don't know much about this role haha. I was accepted for Costuming (my first pick, woohoo!) at Disneyland & I was wondering a few things:

What do you do if you're placed in Cast Costuming? I hear a lot about Entertainment Costuming, but very little about Cast.

What do Costume Hosts/Hostesses wear?

Plus, any other information I can get on this role. Thank you so much!

I found this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2025273&highlight=cp+blogs that answers some of your questions. I think on the 2nd page it talked about what they wear, but I didn't see much on regular costuming, but I only looked briefly. There's also some people who had costuming blogs on the thread that might be good to check out. I know awhile ago, I came across a blog that basically described the role as having crazy hours, but also very rewarding because they got to make the magic happen in a way that no one else could :goodvibes And for me personally, I think it would be really cool to work with the performers in entertainment costuming. It sounds like a great role- when I apply for the cp I'll probably put it on my checklist! And even though this information applies to WDW, there are probably some similarities with DLR. Hope this helps! :)
