Ive been on both a Star Wars and Marvel cruise and know that people dress up on Star Wars and Marvel days at sea. Does Disney allow you to wear masks if you dress up on these days? Like if someone wanted to dress up as kylie wren or black panther, is it allowed?

I believe they ask "no masks".

This is what DCL sent in an email with information about our sailing:

"Please remember that while all Guests are invited to wear costumes for both Pirate Night and this special Star Wars Day at Sea celebration, masks that completely cover a person's face may only be worn when standing still at character photo locations and must be carried when moving around the ship. We also ask that you choose costumes that are not obstructive or offensive. "

They say that, but people were in full costume including masks and elaborate makeup for pictures and for events. When we were on last year, people were inside of inflatable costumes that completely covered them for the costume parties and for photos. It was actually quite difficult to tell who were staff and who were passengers at some points! But I have received the same message as posted above. I'm sure it all depends on Disney's mood at the time.
