Costumes at WDW vs TDS

I was just wondering if the costumes at WDW are different (nicer? & more expensive I assume) than the ones available at my local Disney Store. I want my DD(1) to be Tink for MNSSHP but I don't like the costume at TDS-specifically the fabric for the arms-seems scratchy-especially in the heat of FL. I saw several on E-bay that are sleeveless but I don't really want to do Ebay. Are these sleeveless ones available at WDW gift shops? My sister said she'd make the costume for me which I'll probably do since I don't think I could wait to get there and then find out they don't have her size or something.

I saw lots of costumes at Disney, not sure if they were the same as Disney store though. My daughter wanted that Tinkerbell costume to wear at the parks, but since we were there in June, I thought the same as you--too scratchy and too hot to wear in parks. I'd have your sister make a costume that is more comfortable. If you do want to look for Princess costumes at Disney, go to the store that Tinkerbell flys in--it has tons of Princess costumes! It's in Fantasyland.

The costumes at WDW are much more expensive and I think slightly better made than TDS costumes. We just bought Ariel's costume from WDW. It is beautiful! Every year TDS comes out with new costumes. I loved Belle's last year but hate the one they have this year. I think TDS's Tinkerbell costume is cute. Can't remember what the one at WDW looks like. Good luck!

p.s. the store 750 is refering to is Tinkerbell's Treasures.

Does anyone know if they have toddler/infant costumes at the park? I have not fallen in love with any of the costumes in the catalog as of yet. Last year tiny baby DD Kennedy was Tinkerbelle. I am hoping for Snow White or another Princess...something pretty. We will be in "the World " in 2 weeks. I only remember seeing bigger girls costumes, but then again, I never looked at them as my oldest daughter is a huge tomboy and never had any need to look at Princess costumes.
