Ok, more specifically - each year at least once we attend the PA Renaissance Faire. The boys LOVE this. I mean, gasp, like it's WDW. The whole experience....they are counting the days til we will take them.
They are 13 and 10 and, I cannot believe this, but they really really want to dress up for this thing this year. So we're in the market for any kind of renaissance-era costume. I think oldest is wanting to be a monk (

That kind of costume CAN be hundreds of bucks. Looking for something, to say the least, a little more affordable. I'm scared of Ebay. I don't sew. Any ideas for other options?
