Costume help please!

My DS5 wants to be Sorcerer Mickey for Halloween and I was wondering if anyone has ideas for costume patterns. My mom is able to sew and we are looking for any advice about patterns. Thanks!

It looks like a very basic robe pattern would work. Looking at this image http://www.hauntedventures.com/2007NEWTEMPLATES/DisguiseCollection/MickeySorcerer.jpg I think if you do a google image search online you will find even more ideas. Then just design the hat with the mouse ears

I would just get a pattern for a basic robe. Then get some cording to tie at the waist. Call Disney merchandising and have them mail you a sorcer Mickey hat. (The hat even glows in the dark!) to your son for thinking outside the box for his costume!

last yr my friends son wanted to be S Mickey too, she found a solid blue bathrobe in sears and it looked great, no sewing involved,and he wears the robe every night before bed now!

Thanks everyone for your ideas. My DS bought the ears hat and Mickey hands with his birthday gift card in WDW in January. He wants it to look just like Mickey, so a plain robe is out. I went to the fabric store yesterday and bought 2 patterns to put together, red fleece, and cording. Hopefully my mom can get started soon!
