My DS (8) has his heart set on being "Fantasia Mickey" (Sorcerer Mickey) for the MNSSHP and Halloween. I've looked at our local Party City at costumes but it looks like they are not going to carry any type of costume like this. I've checked the Disney Store and the catalog and no luck. I found 2 of these costumes on ebay, but they are too small for him. Any suggestions on where I should look next? I've tried to get him to go as another character, but he has his heart set on this. If I can find a robe, I will either purchase a hat when we get to the park or I have several friends who have children with one of the hats that we can borrow. Thanks for your help.

Our daughter went as Sorcerer Mickey 2 years ago and we bought the hat at WDW, pointy blue with white Mickey ears and we bought a pair of the oversized Mickey hands (gloves) in white and she wore a bright red robe from a previous Halloween (queen Amidala from Star Wars). We wanted to dress as brooms to go with her but she put the nix on that. The costume went over quite well and she was 9 at the time. Hope this helps?

www.buycostumes.com has a Mickey Sorcerer kit for 7.99. It is not available right now, but coming soon. It only included the hat and wand. But you could probably get a cape to finish it off.

I found the site doing a google.com search. There were a lot of sites that sell costumes.

Good luck:D

Do you sew or know someone who does? I know there is a pattern for a "sorcerer" costume which you could make into a Mickey Sorcerer.

Thanks for the responses so far.

Mady/Sophiemom: I went and looked at the sight that was suggested. Thanks for the info!

Valeriekc: That was a good idea to use the Star Wars costume. If I can't find a robe, I may use that. Thanks!

Figment2: I wish I could sew. My father worked for Singer Sewing Co. for 13 years, and neither my mom nor I can sew. Go figure!!! If I can't figure out anything else, there is a lady we go to church with who would make one for me. I'm trying to go the least expensive route that I can. Thanks for the suggestion!
