It's telling me there's a problem with my card. So, I called instead to have them run it through & it still wouldn't go through. I even had them try two separate debit cards, totally different accounts. Neither one of them would work. I know there's money because my tax return was just deposited...so there's more than enough!
Anyway, we've had trouble with costco a couple years ago when I was trying to put down the $200 deposit. I got an error message & was told to try again later. Well, come to find out, every time I "tried again" they took out $200!!! So, they actually had around $800 bucks & I didn't have that much in my account!! It was a mess.
So, I'm guessing that something is wrong with their system, not my cards because my cards aren't being declined, its just failing to go through. I've called both card companies & they can't see anything wrong anywhere.
I'll just keep an eye on my account to make sure nothing gos through & try again in a couple days.
I don't think I'll be going through Costco anymore. The freebies are nice, but it's been a hassle each time we've used them.
