Costco ticket question

After months of looking, we found the Costco tickets today (East Hanover, NJ). :cool1:

With my son and I not feeling well, my husband made the Costco run, and I told him to keep an eye out for them, but I didn't get to see the tickets before he bought them.

My question is: when he brought them home, I saw that they specify "adult" tickets. Has anyone used them for a child under 10? Will they give me a hard time about it? :confused3

Hoping someone knows - it would stink to spend that money and not be able to use it for him.

Thanks!

We went in December and bought six tickets from Costco. Our son is 9 years old, and he used one of the tickets.

How much are the tickets at Costco?

I think I let my mebership expire-I am wondering if it is worth it to pay my membership to get tickets.

Children can always use adult tickets but adults can't use child's tickets.

I mine for $135 in VA. The best part about these tickets is that you can use them as individual days or all 3 at once. They do not expire until the end of 2013.

Where are the Costcos that have these tickets and how can I find them?

so if I buy the 3 days of universal tickets at Costco I can use all 3 *days* at one time?

Our experience: when you use an adult ticket for a child, they require a finger scan that never works on little ones. They will eventually let them in without it.

If you mean for 3 people to use them on one day ... No. The ticket is tied to one person with their fingerprint. If you mean for one person to use them 3 days in a row that's fine.

OK thanks...yes I was reading it like you can use it for 3 different people.
Thats why I wanted to clarify

Are these tickets a 1 park per day ticket and you can use then for either park? So I can go to Universal one day. IOA the next and go back to either park the 3rd?

The tickets are 3-days, both parks that expire in Dec. 2013. They are only adult (but can be used for kids) and each ticket is for each person. They do not have to be used consecutive days - it is any 3 days between now and Dec. 2013 with no blackout days either.

I just found them at Montgomeryville/North Wales Costco - they seem to have a lot. I don't think many other metro Philly Costco's have them.

Yes, ours were $135 and we bought 3 of them. They specify "PTP" so I believe that means you can use them for both parks in the same day, which I think we'll try to do. When I considered that a comparable ticket for one day for an adult was about $115, kids about $98 - that's for the best price I could find - these seemed like a great deal.

Debating whether these would be worth it for our family. We'd only be using one day this trip, and can't say with 100% certainty that we'd be back by the end of 2013.

Has anyone yet tried going back to use their unused days without a problem? I worry that they wouldn't honor them on non-consecutive visits.
