Costco return policy - I remember, back in the day, that Costco had the best

If it was after the 90 day policy kicked in, then you will have to go with the extended warranty. Also, it being Costco, if you paid using your AMEX, they give you an extra year warranty on electonics. I have used it for laptops. You do need your receipt. If the camera can't be fixed, then AMEX will refund what you paid for it.
