Costco membership increase

Not the person you quoted, but my Costco does not open an hour earlier for Executive members. I would like that also.

Sorry, missed your edit.
It's all good. It's a shame really. I'll have to see if my two locations did away with that too. I know my step-father-in-law was looking into upgrading his membership. Printer paper, ink, printers (when the old ones go out), and K-cups are just a few things he uses frequently at his office that he gets from Costco.

Oh ok was confused.

Our stores open at 10am so an hour earlier would be 9am...which as an Executive member you would be allowed to shop at 9am.

Do your stores not open an hour earlier then for you to shop as an Executive member? You mentioned you'd like them to be open earlier like 9am on weekdays. ETA: Reviewing more indepthly into it appears many locations took away that benefit for Executive and Business members which is quite a bummer then.
Nope. My store doesn't.

Used to be that you could order food in the regular line. Then pickup at food court.
Agh! Of course it was stopped!

I have a Costco in walking distance from my house (not that I walk there...but I could) and really love it. I have three big dogs, and the Kirkland grain-free food is literally about 1/3 the cost of the food I was buying them before - and they are doing really well on it. I also buy a lot of produce and bread there because the quality is very good. And I buy ALL my gas there - they are consistently at least 5 cents a litre cheaper than anywhere else in the area. I used to have to drive to the next town to get to a Costco, and then I'd spend $300 at a time, but with this one so close to my house (it opened two years ago), I can just drop in for one thing if that's all I need. I have an Executive membership and it is usually more than covered by my rebate.

I love Costco. They just have items I am looking for that Sams doesn't...plus I refuse to deal with Walmart and co. Im just at the basic level, because most of my purchase is gas and I believe that doesn't count for the executive level in earning cash back. I buy many things, but I think we would mostly just break even so I don't bother. My renewal is this month so I am still paying 55$ but I plan on renewing next year when I have to pay 60$. It's not even a debate.

I never even knew Costco use to open early for executive members. I tried Costco last year and didn't like it. I was pleased that they gave me a full refund of $110 when I cancelled. Sam's Club has more to offer for my household and I love they open early for plus members at 7am. Normal savings shoppers can come in at 10am so this is a big advantage to businesses I would imagine. I just cant see paying $120 for a Costco membership when Sam's Club has a "premium" membership for $100 that gives you more benefits such as shopping 3 hours early.

I have noticed some decreases in quality over the last couple of years. The Kirkland brand sheets used to be fabulous, but not so much now.

Wish I read this when you posted it. I bought Costco sheets on Tuesday and I'll be returning them. The set I bought last year at Costco was labelled Charisma. This year's sheets don't list a brand and are scratchy compared to last years even after a wash.

I will say our favorite purchase at Costco was the Charisma sheet sets. We bought 3 sets! On sale for $15 was a killer deal. Queen 1 fitted, 1 flat, 4 pillow cases, can't beat that. These sheets are heaven!

At what age do dogs switch from puppy food to dog food? I'd love to save money on dog food.
