Costco locations in Georgia

So me and my husband are thinking that the cheapest place we are gonna get gas during our trip next month is going to be Costco, we are members so that will be a no brainer. I was looking today online at their warehouse locator for Georgia and Florida locations along I-75. Not a whole lot past Atlanta in Georgia. But what I did notice was that the locator didn't even put our local Costco on the map, Ringgold, GA. So that makes me wonder if there are other locations in Georgia (or Florida) that are not on the map? Strange.

You probably won't find a lot, as the area between Atlanta and the FL/GA border is pretty barren. Lots of "middle of nowhere". I also wonder if you're going to waste time and gas driving off I-75 just to save a few pennies per gallon.

My suggestion would be to stop at the Costco that's just north of Atlanta. I forget which exit it is, I want to say Exit 269, or it could be 271 (it's our "hometown" Costco where we shop). It's literally 1/4 mile off I-75 so it's super easy. From there, it's only 270 miles to the FL/GA line and you should easily make it down there until you have to fill up again. Gas in south Georgia is far cheaper than it is in north GA anyway. So maybe stop somewhere around Valdosta. There are several Loves or T/A mega size rest stations...I think one is at Exit 11 in GA if I remember correctly. From there you can make it all the way to WDW.

I would suggest you consult the 'gas buddy' website and it will give you good information on where to stop for gas.

In my area I make a point of keeping myself filled at Costco, but when I travel I use already purchased gas gift cards - a recent offer got some for 20% off - and make use of those, or I look for the best and most conveniently located gas through gas buddy.

Also, use a credit card that maxes points for buying gas. The Costco Citi card is a winner here as it gives 4% back for gas everywhere.

Right, that is what I am thinking. I am not going to go way out of my way to get Costco gas. I just thought there would be more Costcos out there. Morrow will be a stop for sure. I just wonder why my local warehouse was not listed on the site.

By the way..........as I kept scrolling south from Atlanta to North Florida on I-75, there were quite a few Sams Clubs along the way. Just in case that info benefits some other travelers.

Do you mind sharing how you got gas gift cards for 20% off?
I would like to get in on that kind of deal the next time it comes around. Thanks.

I have an Amex personal card and an Amex SPG card. Amex has offers and one recent offer was $10 of $50 at Lowes. I used both offers for a total of $100 in gas gift cards for $80. Every little bit helps.
