Costco Ham Sale

Costco just marked down their Kirkland brand spiral hams on Wednesday to .97c per lb. It's a great deal if you're interested. I was there today and they still had plenty.

Was it the kind in red tinfoil? I was told by an employee at my local Costco that they were marked down because of mid February sell by dates. I wonder if what you saw was the same? I'll either use mine by then or throw it in the freezer.

I bought one for New Years and it was very good - just as good as honeybaked for 1/3 the price.

They can be frozen.

Ours had Feb sale dates also.

Feb dates to March dates - all $2.49 at our Costco today.

BTW - do you all warm the ham at all, or just let the pieces you need come to room temp? I overcooked a ham at Christmas - it was so bad.
