Costco DLR Package-Max of 4 nights?

I have been trying to price out package options at several different sites, and keep seeing people mention that they have used Costco Travel.

However, when I try to enter my dates in, it tells me I have exceeded the maximum number of nights. I called Costco Travel directly, and they tell me that they only offer packages up to 4 nights? Has anyone else experience this? It seems odd. Others besides me would like to stay for a week, right?

He told me I could book two separate packages, which I thought might be a good idea because then we'd get TWO character breakfasts or twice the number of vouchers, but then he told me the vouchers are only worth 15 dollars apiece per person on the package.

Has anyone else booked with Costco for longer than 4 days?

Its a fairly recent change. When we did it in 2009 we stayed 5 nights. The meal vouchers are worth more than $15. I'm not sure what he was looking at (maybe the kids price?). They are premium character meal vouchers. But 2 packages would mean 2 sets of tickets.

What you could do is get a package with however long tickets you want, then do room only through the hotel for the additional nights. Also price things out separately, it's often cheaper.

I had the same issue when I booked in Feb, kept thinking I was doing something wrong on the website to get only 4 nights. I also had to call DLR and have extra days added. Costco has had 5 days in the past, the last one I booked with them was the stay 3 nights get two free, deal a few years back.

I think this rule is limited to staying onsite. I booked a 5 night stay off site through Costco last year. As far as the meal vouchers go, I think the rep. Was misinformed. I have always purchased the character meal vouchers ahead of time, and never have had to pay anything additional. I suggest you call back and verify. Good luck!

I just booked with Costco about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I was able to book 5 nights at the Fairfield Inn with no issue. Maybe it's limited with certain hotels?

We booked a 4 night package at the GCH in Dec. and we wanted to stay longer so I called Disney Vacation's directly and booked the other nights which I was able to use a pin code for. They said to make sure both reservations are linked together by letting them know. They couldn't guarantee that we could stay in the same room but we didn't have any problems with it and got to stay in the same room and we only had to check in once and they gave us 2 sets of keys one set for the package nights, one for the add on's.

I think its just the onsite hotels.
