I just read this and it makes me sad. It was a really nice deal to get the same vacation as you get directly through Disney with a gift card thrown in.

They don’t call it Cost-co for nothing. Must have been too much of a cost for them.

I don't see any mention of gift cards on that page, if that's what you mean by "gc perk." That article is about Costco discontinuing Disneyland vacation packages, which is old news.

That's rather a clickbait site anyway, so you might want to use other sources for current information.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize that. We used to use Costco for our DL family vacations because of the gift card. I thought you could still go through Costco for vacations but could no longer get the card. My apologies for the confusion. Maybe this applies to WDW?

edited to add that I removed the link in my original post.

According to a discussion started on this forum a few weeks ago, Costco has discontinued sales of packages for DLR, but they're still offering packages for WDW:

And this ongoing thread about the Costco DLR hopper tickets shows an image that says the offer includes Lightning Lane and a "$30 Disney Dining Card." I wonder whether the card is really restricted to restaurants or they're just positioning a general-purpose gift card as being for dining because that's what most people care about. Anyway, the hopper comes with some sort of card with $30 credit on it.
