Costco AP's

Another question on Costco AP's for those who have purchased them. If I do not reside in SoCal but have a family member buy it for me I will be ok, right. I mean, I don't have to be a SoCal resident to use the pass do I? Or even have a socal resident with me.

No, you don't have to be a socal resident or have a socal resident with you. I'm not and we used ours last week. They are only sold at socal costco stores though.

We live in Northern Calif. and on our last trip, 9-26, these passes were available for about three days before we left. I called the local costco and got the usual Southern Calif. area only line. En route we purchased four of them at the San Dimas Costco. There was no problem with redeeming them on that day, no one in our party was from southern Calif. I now have a $200.00 head start on our next trip.
