Does anyone know if you need to pre-order the Southern California Pass from Costco, or can you just go in an buy it at any time?

TIA!:goodvibes

Is the water in DCA still drained?!
&& if so..does anyone know when it will be full again?!
We are going in March and it will be a 1st time trip for sister [16], DBF [25] && my DS [3]. I would LOVE for it too but full again because it adds the touch to the park. I don't wanna see it empty :sad2:
Anyhow, just being curious. Like always.

P.S.
Has anyone gone lately && if so how are the parks looking as far as refurbs?!

I SO completley posted that on the wrong thread
My bad.
But.. I actually did mean to reply to your thread. From what I read thru Costco and a couple other sites, you can walk in a purchase the passes at the stores. No need to order in advance. All though you CAN pre-order, you don't have too. Hope I was of some help.

 <-- That would be me tonight at work. Being that it is 3:13am and I have been here since 6:00pm last night && still have 3 hours to go. No wonder I'm posting on the wrong thread.Thank God I'm off for 3 days :woohoo:

If you're talking about the CityPass...not all Costco's have them in their stores. Mine does and it is cheaper than the online price. I can't remember the exact amount and I may be going there today and I can check. If you order it online, there's a $14.86 shipping & handling fee. There's also no tax according to the customer service person when you buy at the store.

I would suggest calling your local Costco before going. I know for me, the drive is approx. a 1/2 hour on a good day and I would hate to waste that gas and my time. I hate wasted trips. Hope you find your answer. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone - we are coming from Australia (I should have mentioned this in my original post) so we are not able to purchase things on-line through Costco. I would assume that given its proximity to DL that the one on Sth Harbor Boulevard would sell them but if someone can confirm that would be great.

Snow White,
Some information for you and others. I just called the Costco closest to DLR which shows 4.1 miles on 900 S. Harbor, Fullterton. I tried another store in Garden Grove but none of the 4 phone numbers went through...

They do not have the southern California City Pass in their store (at least not at this time, if ever). They only have the Disneyland pass which according to online- it is only available for CA residents and you must provide proof at the gate. Also, they are not hoppers.

I stated in a previous post that I thought the City Passes were less at the store. I went yesterday and found the price at my store to be exactly the same as what's online ($227/$192). I wanted to know whether you receive a voucher for each park or tickets. The manager was nice enough to get one out of lock-up. It is actually a hard credit card type card. It said on it to take it to each location to be scanned and the tickets are already on the card. So we took it as you don't need to go to the ticket window when you get to each park (??) but I don't know if each park's turnstile area has that capicity.

I know OP is from Australia but maybe it'll help someone close to a Costco.

Have fun planning!
