DH and I each have a 6 day Park Hopper that we plan to put toward the renewal of our Annual Passes. It looks like the Gold Pass is what we would need, as we are DVC members and won't visit during the Blackout Dates. I think it would be about $50 each for the upgrade. Is that right? Just looking for someone to double check my calculation!! Thanks!!

take the cost of the AP for the gold 466 plus tax and - the amount you paid for the tickets 346 so I got 120 unless you are a FL resident or your tickets were more money

Where are you seeing $346 for a 6 day park hopper? On the Disney site it's $389 before tax.

The Mousesavers Website says a 6 day park hopper is $414, which is where I got my price from. The tickets were part of a package, and I'm not sure what I paid for them. I guess I could call Disney and they could tell me.

$414 is the price with tax. Tickets that are part of a package are considered to be discounted, but it doesn't matter what you paid for them - what matters is the gate price, which is $414. What you have to do is make sure you use the ticket at least once before you upgrade because that allows the ticket to be bridged to the gate price. So the upgrade price is whatever the difference is between $414 and the price of a Gold Pass with tax. (I tried looking it up on the Disney World website, but I'm guessing it must be a pass that only DVC and/or Florida residents can buy, which I can't access since I'm neither.)

Disney Gold Pass
Renewal Florida Residents and DVC Members: $466 + tax

My guess is you couldn't link it because it was a page that you had to log into.

Since the cost of the 6 day park hopper is $414.29 with tax and the cost of the Gold Pass renewal is $496.29 with tax, then the difference is $82. (It looks like the OP came up with $50 by looking at the cost of the park hopper with tax and the cost of the Gold Pass renewal without tax.)

Looks like that's exactly what I did!! Thanks!
