Cost $ to update park ticket

I present purchased a discounted 3 day park ticket. Thinking on adding a day to the ticket after it is used. Looked at Disney web site and the current 3 day ticket is $290 and the 4 day ticket is $325. So I assume if I update the ticket it will cost $35.

That's correct.
(Plus tax on the $35.)

BTW...
You do NOT need to use the ticket before you upgrade it (although you CAN do so, if you like.)
The upgrade price will be the same either way.

thanks but I thought that if you upgraded an unused discounted ticket the system used the original cost of the ticket and not the current price. Not sure the price associated with the ticket as I redeemed points to purchase ticket

1- That is not the case.
It was long posted on this site that is was necessary, but it is not required.

2- You would never know this information, as DISNEY does not know this information.
(Disney only knows what the DISCOUNTER paid for the ticket, and that amount is not
what YOU paid for the ticket, "points" or not.)
