I just called CRO and asked the same question. I was told that if you stay in a WDW Resort you can park at the theme parks for free. That is also the info I found on allearsnet. Am I wrong?
If you are staying on the grounds, you show your room key which looks like a credit card. Or you can show the dashboard pass they give you for parking at your resort. It says you are staying at a WDW resort, so parking is free.
If you are staying off site.. you only have to pay once per day. If you go from MK to AK for instance, just keep your ticket and you will not have to pay the $8 again.

Nope, you're right. Resort guests park free at their resort and the parks, and can get guest pass parking at other resorts for a few hours. AP holders get free parking as well. Off site pay once for all day.
All water parks are free to park at, as is DTD. =)
