Cost Taxi from CBR to Downtown Disney

Hello,

Wondering if someone has taken a taxi from CBR to DTD and how much
the taxi fare was.

From the entrance of CBR to the Marketplace at DTD, approx $10 plus tip.
Add a buck or two depending on the pickup location within CBR.
Subtract a buck or two if your only going to the West Side of DTD.

I was looking at the car rental place in DTD seems to be cheaper compared to the disney care center. May still be cheaper even if I need to catch a taxi to go their location. I was planning to take a taxi so I can be at the car rental place when the first open at 8:00. They said they usually can send shuttle to pick up clients staying at disney resort but it does not leave until 8:30. I figure if I can rent a car early the lines may not be long at the rental counter.

You can rent from Alamo/National at the Dolphin also, which would be even shorter cab ride, if their rates compare to the ones you already have.
I doubt there will be any lines at the hotel rental counters.
