Does anyone know the cost per point for GVC direct sales from Disney? I realize they are sold out and are taking a waiting list. Just wondering what people are currently paying for a direct sale when their turn comes up.

I think most on the wait list will be paying $120/pt as they got on the list before the recent price increase to $130 (at least that is where we are). The price increase was put in place a few weeks ago.

We just had our first stay at the VGC - and WOW - were we impressed!

By and large, VGC is the highest quality DVC resort. Not only in experience, but also in the quality of construction/materials/furnishing.

WE LOVED the pool loungers! They are the best of any Disney resort!

I can say without a doubt that VGC is the ONLY DVC resort that is worth the current asking price.

I visited Disneyland a few times this past spring with I was on the west coast for work - and fell in love with the charm and totally unique experiences.

So we planned a 9 day vacation for CA - just returned home on Sunday. We weren't able to stay at VGC for the whole stay - we did 3 nights at DLH, 3 nights at VGC, and 2 nights at PPH.

Of the three - we were totally blown away by the Grand Californian! WOW again.

From the lobby - to the pools - to the access to California Adventure - to the Pianist in the lobby - WOW - WOW - WOW!

If we were closer to the west coast, we would definitely buy points at the Grand!

I see DGC on resale for $95 a point.

I'm leaning towards that then buying new.
