Cost of your flight.

The best deal we ever got was 2264.00cad return including tax for the five of us. I know I will never see that again so the best I can venture is around 550-600 cad with tax return is where the flights are probably at now. I can fly into other places at a much lower price but they are one even 2 stops which makes for a very long 13 hour day plus the time difference plus the drive

We are going on Feb. 15 and are paying $303 per person taxes included from Pearson to Orlando.

$998US return for 7 of us via southwest
Sept. 25 - Oct 2nd - Buffalo > orlando

OMG!!!!
I thought 1940$ USD for 7 of us flying SW in March was a deal (Albany, NY to MCO direct) !!!!! :thumbsup2 Good for you. Just happy that we're booked.

We paid $950 return for three people on WestJet last August. I know WestJet and Air Canada have flights on sale right now for this August (when we're going) for $199 each way per person. I'm trying to hold out for $99 per person! :)

We're leaving April 25th...5 non stop return from Halifax with AC = a little over $2200. I thought that was REALLY good. :cool1:
Our last trip was $1500 CND for 5 of us out of Boston with Delta.

I just happened to be taking a quick peek at West Jet's site on Thursday night. Lo and behold, the direct flight from Calgary was $170.00 pp/each way, for a total of $921.00 for 2 flights with all taxes in. I am so glad I grabbed that deal, as the next day, it was back up again at $358.00 per way....double what I paid!!!! I didn't think $921.00 was bad as when we flew in Sept with our family of 4, I paid $2,400.00 for the 4 of us to fly the red eye from Edmonton, it was a long 7.5 hours in the air plus 3 hours waiting to transfer in Toronto! I am so looking forward to just getting on in Calgary and then landing in Orlando without any transferring or layovers!!!:cool1:
I will have to drive from Edmonton to Calgary the afternoon before and then stay again the night we fly back in a hotel, but I just look at it as part of our holiday.... it will be fun!
:goodvibes

chimo2u WOW great deal. Last March we flew direct from Calgary to Orlando $600 pp rt and that was a deal :lmao:

Last trip we were on Jet Blue out of Buffalo and we paid $600 CDN for 3 people return. Our Feb flights are a little more than that (greater demand I suppose for this time of year)

We just booked for April and it was $522 per person out of Toronto.
 OUCH! But the air times were great. Still it adds up quick with 6 of us going.

I've been looking at the Jetblue site :surfweb: and for this week there are lots of non stops from BUF to MCO for $64 as well as the return. Roundtrip it's $150 per person.

I'm still thinking about going :rolleyes1

We leave in 18 days :yay: on Spirit Air from Atlantic City and we paid $500 round trip for 2. They are nonstop and we arrive in Orlando at 8:30 am and don't depart until 9:30 pm so we really get full days!

Would like to hear what you think of Spirit Air ... post flight report welcome!

We don't fly very often, but have found Spirit Air adequate and cheap. Planes are usually a little on the smaller side. Will post an updated opinion after our trip.

We pay between $64us and $85us for South West out of Buffalo. We have flowen with them twice to Orlando always on time and very comfortable. The airport is very easy to get to and very quick to get thru security even at 6 a.m. when it seems every carrier has a flight leaving:scared1:
I can't see us ever using a Canadian airline to go there as the cheapest seats are taxed beyond belief. I saw one price on flightcenter.com saying Orlando $19 out of Toronto but $209 dollars in taxes!:confused3
When you only have two major airlines the competion is non-existant IMHO.

March 2009 - $1300 inc in for 4 return Toronto to MCO (booked in Nov)
March 2010 - $1095 inc for 4 return Toronto to MCO (booked on united.ca early Nov vs $2700 on aircanada.com at the same time)

Fares change all the time, sometimes codeshare flights are cheaper on united.ca for Air Canada flights. Granted on Jetblue out of Buffalo about 3 weeks before that, I think it was close to $800 for 4 but didn't want to risk the weather and the drive to Buffalo.
