Cost of Upgrading to Annual Pass

We are purchasing our tickets for Water Park Fun and More before our trip in June. I understand that we have to use the tickets for a day at one of the 4 big parks before we upgrade to Annual Pass (a regular Annual Pass - not the Premium Pass that includes the Water parks and more), but my question is what is the cost of the upgrade? We're DVC members so will the cost of the upgrade simply be $396 minus the face value of the tickets? Thanks so much!

I believe if you have the water park fun and more you have to upgrade to a Premium Annual Pass. This pass, according to the Member Website, is $474 plus tax for adults.

We upgraded from Water Park Fun & More tix to regular annual passes in 2007. We had simply not used the water parks, and the CM pointed out that we might be happier saving money and just getting the regular pass. I don't know if it would be different because we didn't actually use the option....maybe.

I believe that if you have NOT used the Water Park Option, then you can upgrade to a regular AP. If you have used one of the Options, then you can only upgrade to a PAP.

Don't forget to find someone with a current A/P who can give you a coupon to get an additionl 10% off your AP's that you plan to buy in June. They get $25 gift cards for each A/P that you buy, too! There's a long thread on this topic on the theme park board.

Don't forget to find someone with a current A/P who can give you a coupon to get an additionl 10% off your AP's that you plan to buy in June. They get $25 gift cards for each A/P that you buy, too! There's a long thread on this topic on the theme park board.

we just got back from our trip. we bought our tickets from the mousesavers link at undercover tourist. we saved $44 a ticket there and then used our ticket once and then upgraded our tickets with our dvc discount to PAP's with 5 tickets we saved $220 plus our dvc discount! totally awesome
