Hi there,
Finally, our tickets have arrived with 1 day to spare! for those who don't know,we are going to WDW on wednesday morning for 14 days, and then onto the 3day 'wonder' cruise. We have booked everything through DVC with our points. I have just received the cruise line docs, and noticed $132 per stateroom taxes.(there are 4 of us (Myself, DW,DS7 DD2)) over $550 in tax.
Is this correct, I just wanted to check before calling DCL. I am sure that DVC never mentioned this cost, but maybe somewhere in the fine print.....
Any help would be great
Thanks

Hmmm... I always wondered about that. The DVC Member Guidebook does say that members are responsible for port charges.

Here's the schedule of port charges for DCL: $128.85 for adults, $113.85 for children.

that seems a bit steep for port charges on a 3 night where the only stop is Nassau (there shouldn't be port charges for CC since DCL owns the island).

Heck our port charges for 3 of us on the repo cruise (3 ports besides CC is around $140 total).

I went into DCL's website and mocked a 3 night and 2 people in a stateroom was about $67 in government taxes. So if you have 4 people in one room that would be about $134 or so in taxes. If you have 2 people in two rooms each, you should probably be looking at something closer than $67 per room (2 people in each of the rooms).

Just wondering ?

Is this a Fee that has to Be paid when you use your dvc points or is it included ??
