Okay, we have never rented a stroller in the parks. We are considering it for our upcoming trip in April due to resort choice. We haven't stayed moderate in over a decade but due to my inability to obtain a code of any kind I just cannot justify the cost of the Poly at rack rate. So we have the POR booked. We stayed there over 10 yrs ago and really liked it but realize it is HUGE. I thought we could take our single stroller for the 1 yr old to use around the resort and rent a double in the parks. What is the cost per day for a double? Can you still use your pay stub from the am at one aprk to get a stroller in the pm at another? (Seems like I read you could do this at sometime) Are the kids comfty in them? I saw the Jon and Kate + 8 episode and they really loved the ease of pushing the strollers, any thoughts?

Double strollers are $18 a day. there is some discount for multi-day rental. Yes you get a payment stub and can use it for a stroller at any park during the days you rent.

Have a great time!

We're staying at POR too!

If you do the multi-day rental, it's $16/day.

We've rented the doubles twice now, and really liked them. Simple to push (at least compared to the Peg Perego triple I used to have to push;) ), and convenient.

We rented the double for our December 2007 stay. Our kids were 1.5 and 3.5 at the time. They loved the stroller. My DD 3.5 called it her "car". Very easy to maneuver and seemed to be very comfortable for the kiddos!! We did bring small blankets for each of them to rest their heads against when they were tired.

Also, FYI...they don't rent double strollers at Downtown Disney...only at the 4 theme parks!

Enjoy your trip!!:goodvibes

Glad to hear postives, we just thought it might be easier not to lug our double peg p on/off buses. Our dd will be 2 but turning 3 during our trip and a 16 month old. I thought we would pack a single for around the resort for Gracie and Anna could probably walk or her 2 teen brothers can carry her on their shoulders.

I didn't realize they had doubles to rent. I've only rented a single one before my 2nd was born. Good to know, thanks!

would these strollers be appropriate for a 7 old? Not sure if my daughter will need one next year but figured i would ask

Also, keep in mind that you can "store" your own personal stroller at the Stroller Center while you are at the parks. So if you want to take your single stroller with the 16 mo old on the bus and push to and from the bus stops you can then have the CMs keep in the storage room.

Also...when we were just there in WDW a few weeks ago I only took my DD3 turning 4 the next week. My dad paid for a length of stay the first day. He paid for 5 days. We had our MacLaren with us as well. Turns out that Grace didn't need to rent a stroller except the first day. They let us "return" the unused days!! :thumbsup2
