Does anyone know how much Mickey bars, Dole Whips or turkey legs are? We are planning for our "snack allowance" for our family of 6!
Thanks so much! :Pinkbounc

We were there last in 2001 - so prices may have gone up. But Mickey bars were 2.50 (I remember because it was 10.00 for the four of us!). Those turkey legs are about 4.50.

I have never had the Dole Whip - although I am having one in January!!!

Dole Whips I think are $2.60 ... that's just the ice cream though. I'm not sure how much the floats are.

Hi taximom,

Try this web site, it lists all of the restaurants in the parks and resorts. Includes the prices also.

It was and still is very helpful to me. We are leaving Aug. 1st.

For my family of two adults and two elementary age daughters, I am budgeting $15 per day for snacks. That would include carrying in our own water and using refillable mugs for resort beverages, so I expect mostly to spend that on ice cream, popcorn, etc. I think there are days we will spend more and days we will spend less, but I hope that is a good average.

That sounds reasonable. Believe it or not I budget 150.00 a day for food for the four of us. That's 20.00 for breakfast/30.00 for lunch and 100.00 for dinner. Sometimes we have a character breakfast or a main meal lunch and we switch the amounts around. We never actually spend the whole thing and snacks are part of this money , too.

We almost always come back with money left over - but I really enjoy all the foods and resturants in Disney!

Don't kid yourself people.... snacking $$ adds up!

Added to the fact that everywhere you turn around there is something else to consider whether it be fudge :) (my personal fav) or ice cream, popcorn, carmel corn, candy floss, roasted peanuts, bakery items, sodas.... I could go on and on.

We snack a lot ~ at the least a mid morning treat, after lunch treat (this is in addition to dessert!!) late afternoon treat, after dinner treat... evening treat. I budget at least 20.00 each for snacks a day ~ it may sound high ~ but do the math ~ if you like to snack it can get pricey.

You can bring snacks to save a bit - like granola bars, chips, crackers, water etc.. but even with a backpack full of stuff you are going to be tempted :p

I believe the frozen ice cream treats were around $2.50. Popcorn was about the same for a regular size, I think $4 for a large in a souvenier bucket. I love, love, love to snack at home, but for some odd reason we didn't snack a lot on our trip. I think it's because when we got hungry, we were starving, and wanted to eat a meal. We did pack some granola bars, goldfish too...I'm thinking back and I'm shocked at how little snacking we did! Usually when I am at DL I buy a couple of churros, etc. I think we got maybe one snack per day, but we often shared- I think $15 per day for snacks is reasonable. One thing I bought two or three times were the bags of chocolate covered Mickey pretzels- those were very yummy! My son liked the popsicles, and the whole trip I think we got a total of 2 Mickey Bars- I think I will have to do more snacking next time to make up for it! :p

Fudge...did you say fudge? That sounds so good. Where is that located?

The first thing I do at MK is buy Fudge on Mainstreet USA. It's a shop on the right hand side... has ice cream too - I'm sure a DIS'er can tell us the name :)
