I asked this in another thread and only got one response, so I thought I would post it in a new thread and see if more people weighed in.

We are coming for 7 days and 6 nights. We are driving, so day #1 and day #7 will be spent on the road, so taking that into account, what should I budget for meals. Probably light breakfast, in park lunches, moderate Citywalk dinners (Hard Rock, Nascar, Margaritaville) and maybe one more expensive meal.

I've been agonizing over what is reasonable without sitting down and trying to figure it out meal by meal, and I thought some of you might have some insight.

Thanks! 29 days and counting...

Okay, here goes, but it can vary based on what your groups likes/dislikes are and how much they eat.

For breakfast, we usually do something light (continental or breakfast sandwiches in the parks) and for four that runs $20 or less.

For lunch we will do quick service restaurants and usually have (chicken/burgers, etc.) and we usually spend about $30.

For dinner, we will do quick service or a sit down meal depending on what we ate during the day and that is where it could get pricey. If we do just entrees, it can run roughly $50-60 based on the restaurants you posted. If we go all out and have appetizers/desserts (we don't drink alcohol so that is not a factor) we usually spend $80-90.

Based on this we usually factor $100-150 a day for food, but again this is eating on site with no discounts and not leaving the resort.

You could do it more economically, but this is usually just about where our family falls.

I hope this helps.
