Cost for the DDP and a ?

Hi there....for DVC members do you have to book the DDP through Member Services? If so..what is the price for adults and children per day?

Also my 12 year old would be charged an adult price but if he wanted to can he order off the kids menu? I know a kid can't order off the adult menu but can an "adult" order off the kids menu? Thanks

$38.99 per adult and $10.99 per child inclusive of tax and tips and for each person in the unit for each night of the stay. He can order from the kids menu, you may want to pay out of pocket for those meals though and save the credits for other options.

Yes he can still order off the kids menu, but at 38.99 a day, that is not wise. My grandson is a picky eater and is 12. While visiting in October he would order an adult meal, but modify it to his liking. For example at the 50s prime time, he ordered the adult fried chicken meal with french fries instead of the mashed potatoes and corn instead of greens. AT the steak places, LeCellier, Concourse, Kona, he ordered the filet mignon--plain, no sauces, and ordered a baked potatoe or french fries or mac and cheese in places of the fancy side option. The servers are very accommodating. During desert he ordered the kids or adults or sometimes a bowl of ice cream. My grandson eats out alot and is very comfortable at restraurants, so it not shy in dealing with servers or changing how a dish is prepared.
